Our Services

One to One Support

Sometimes a more tailored approach is needed for which we offer individual sessions for children, young people, and parents/carers.

Children and Young People

These sessions focus on helping you to develop the knowledge and practical skills that boost mental health, emotional regulations, anxiety, and stress and to build a more positive mind set. We start by understanding the areas of concern and then tailor the session to target and improve their life choices

Adults

If you are facing challenging behaviours or struggle to respond appropriately, then a few individual sessions that focus on your specific areas of concern could give you the strategies to be able to manage and move forward in a more positive way.

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

    Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, often referred to as ‘CBT’, is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave, it is most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.

  • Creative Art

    Creative Art is a form of psychotherapy that uses art media as its primary mode of expression and communication, using this tool can address emotional issues which may be causing distress and anxiety.

  • Trauma Informed Practice and Care

    This approach focusses not on “what’s wrong with you?” but “what happened to you?”.

    This approach looks at a person’s life situation past and present to provide effective service by looking at:

    • Signs and symptoms of trauma;
    • Understanding the path for recovery and healing from trauma;
    • Building resilience;
    • Actively avoid re-traumatisation.
  • Solution Focused Practice

    A solution focused practice treats the child or young person as the expert on their own life, and concentrates on helping people move towards the future. It is centred around what hey want and to learn what can be done differently by using their exciting skills, strategies and ideas rather than focusing on the problem.

Education Intervention

We deliver individualised interventions for anyone having difficulty remain in education, whether they are at home, school, children's homes, etc. We strive to make sure that no young person is left behind. Our programmes are customised to meet the needs of each person since we are aware that every student and intervention is unique.

At Embrace4support, we take care not to adopt a prescriptive approach, which is why our interventions are very flexible. Many times, when a young person seeks help from Embrace4support, previous interventions have failed them. We take pride in carefully considering everyone’s circumstances. We then devise creative strategies using this information, as well as our expertise in working with young people who are chronically disengaged.   Therefore, we match the learner with the appropriate qualified professional because of our first assessment.

These are some of the difficulties the young people we engage with experience.

  • Disengaged from Education
  • Children Looked After
  • Social Emotional Mental Health Needs
  • Special Educational Needs and Disability
  • Transition
  • Gender specific
